The Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad continued the discussions of PhD students within the Philosophy of Science course. The students delivered intellectual presentations that included analytical and critical readings of several philosophical concepts and themes related to scientific research, most notably: Why science?, the relationship between philosophy and science, scientific method and thinking, and the applied rationality of Gaston Bachelard.

The students also presented conceptual diagrams illustrating the models derived from these philosophical discussions, representing initial steps toward building the theoretical frameworks of their research projects.

These discussions were supervised and guided by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulhussein Al-Askari, the course instructor, contributing to strengthening the students’ analytical and intellectual skills and reinforcing their connection to scientific research.
